- In a large saucepan, combine cornmeal and the cold water. Add the remaining ingredients and boil until thickened.
- Pour into a greased loaf pan. When cooled, put the pan into the fridge overnight. Run a knife around the edge of pan to loosen and remove scrapple. Slice into 1" pieces and fry both sides in butter on top of stove until browned. Serve warm.
