    So sweet and yummy, you will forget rhubarb is a vegetable. Grandma was famous for everything she made with rhubarb.

    Ingredients:

    • 3 cups rhubarb (cut into 1 inch pieces)
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 lb candy orange slices
    • 1 lemon, juice of

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Cover and cook rhubarb in water over low heat until tender (about 15 minutes).

      Cut candy orange slices (gumdrop type) into rhubarb.
    3. 3
      add lemon and cook slowly--stirring frequently--till thick.
    4. 4
      Pour into jelly jars.
    5. 5
      Grated lemon peel can also be used to enhance flavor.

      This is awesome! I used lime juice because I was out of lemon juice, assortedflavors of candy fruit slices, and about 1/4 cup of sugar. I also used mixed citrus zest. This WILL go in my cookbook!
