- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained (aka chickpeas)
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 (4 ounce) can mild green chilies
- 1⁄2 tablespoon chili powder
directions
- 1. Cook ground beef/turkey and onion in medium skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat until it is no longer pink. Drain; place ground beef/turkey mixture into the Crock-Pot Slow Cooker.
- 2. Add tomatoes with juice, beans, tomato sauce, chilies and chili powder; mix well. Cover; cook on high for 6-8 hours or until done.
