Garlic Serrano Pepper Marinade

"This marinade is excellent with chicken, but works well with fish or steak too. If you like garlic, this will flavor your choice of meat quite well. We use it for kabobs often and those who partake comment on the marinade every time."

  1. i'm not too sure how accurate of a rating i can give this recipe as i altered it significantly to suit our tastes.. i subbed 1/2 cup of lemon juice for the chicken broth.. used 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of pepper and added about a tsp of cumin.. threw everything in my blender and used this to marinate veggies we put on skewers.. this was super tasty! i'm sure this would go great on any type of meat as well.. ty for the start of a yummy side dish

  2. Very good! I marinated chicken and pork chops. The chops were great last night and tonight's the chicken. I used dried cilantro; next time, I'll use fresh. Made for PAC Spring 2010.

  3. This marinade is outstanding! We made chicken kabobs, and marinated the meat cubes about an hour. The combination of cilantro, garlic and hot peper was just right. I'm so glad to have this recipe. Thanks Carebear.
