Garlic Cheese Bread

"My cousin Tamara Vandegrift Easley also sent this recipe with these comments: this is something that Julie Mathis brought to the reunion one time. Every time I have taken it to any gathering someone always wants the recipe. It is great with meals or with just a green salad for lunch."

  1. It was different, quite a change for sure. The mayo and cheese melted and got nice and brown. It's not something I'd make again but I'm sure a lot of people would like this if they gave it a try.

  2. My MIL first made this for me and it is sooooooo good! I thought the mayo/cheese combo sounded funny at first but the mayo melts and crisps up the bread and you just have this crispy, gooey, cheesy goodness. I do have to say that she adds pepperoncinis to hers and it ads another dimension of flavor. Try it both ways! Its fantastic!
