- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
- 2 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
- 8 ounces penne, cooked
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- grated cheese (optional)
directions
- Melt butter and garlic in a small saucepan or 8 inch skillet.
- Season with a pinch of salt and cook very gently for 2-5 minutes, without allowing the garlic to color.
- Toss into the hot cooked pasta. Season with salt and pepper and stir in the chopped parsley. Stir with cheese if desired. And serve up immediately.
