Fudge Brownies

"This is my mother's recipe."

ingredients

• 118.29 ml butter or 118.29 ml margarine
• 2 (56.69 g) unsweetened chocolate squares, melted and cooled
• 236.59 ml sugar
• 2 eggs
• 4.92 ml vanilla
• 177.44 ml sifted all-purpose flour
• 118.29 ml chopped walnuts (optional)

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In medium saucepan, melt butter and chocolate.
3. Remove from heat, stir in sugar.
4. Blend in eggs one at a time.
5. Stir in flour; mix well.
6. Spread in greased 8x8x2 pan.
7. Bake for 30 minutes.
8. They are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not overbake!
