Really great flavor, but I would make a couple of suggestions. Drain one of the canned fruits and not the other. That way you can toss the chopped apples in the juice to keep them from getting brown, but not so much that it waters down the whipped topping. Also, I found that my red apples were a bit tart. I think something sweeter and softer would have worked better like golden delicous.

Thankyou for the great recipe. I used only 8 oz of cool whip and it tasted great.

I really love the taste of cool whip, coconut, and nuts together :-) I took this to a pig roast this weekend and everyone really liked the taste. Next time I think I might omit the grapes and apples they were both rather tart for the oranges and pineapple. Thanks, I will try this again!
