Fried Mozzarella Sticks

- 10 ounces well chilled mozzarella cheese (solid block)
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 3⁄4 cup seasoned fine dry breadcrumb
- crisco vegetable oil (for frying)
directions
- Cut cheese into 2 1/2" x 1/2" sticks.
- Place milk in shallow dish.
- Dip sticks in milk; coat with flour.
- In a separate bowl, combine egg with 1 teaspoons oil or milk.
- Dip floured sticks in egg mixture; roll in breadcrumbs.
- Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- In deep fryer, or deep skillet, heat 2-inches oil to 375°F.
- Fry several at a time in hot oil for 45 seconds to 1 minute, or until golden brown and sticks float to the top.
- Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with pizza sauce.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
