My great-grandmother's recipe for a four flavor pound cake. This cake is one of my favorite childhood memories and is packed full of flavor.

  1. Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs to mixture.
  3. Sift all-purpose flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture while alternating with sweet milk.
  4. Add rum, lemon, almond, and vanilla flavoring to mixture.
  5. Place mixture in well-greased 10-in. tube pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done (may take a little longer).
