  • Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs to mixture.
  • Sift all-purpose flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture while alternating with sweet milk.
  • Add rum, lemon, almond, and vanilla flavoring to mixture.
  • Place mixture in well-greased 10-in. tube pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done (may take a little longer).
