This is a very simple recipe I came up with to liven up some low sodium tomato juice. Everybody I have treated it to has compared it to a taste equal to V-8 but at less than half the cost.

Easy and fast. Even better after it's been allowed to sit for overnight. Next time I would double the hot sauce as 1 tsp didn't add as much kick as I expected and try to find the table blend Mrs. Dash as I didn't care much for the gritty texure the regular Mrs. Dash gives the juice. Thanks for sharing.
- 1 (46 ounce) can low-sodium tomato juice
- 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
Directions See How It's Made
- Empty tomato juice of your choice in a pitcher.I use the Mrs. Dash Table Blend for the best texture. Just sprinkle over the top of the juice to completely cover , I use about a level teaspoon. You may adjust to your taste. I like things hot so I add a tablespoon of Cholula Hot Sauce. Stir well and you can drink right away, but I have found that if I put if in the refrigerator and let it set over night the seasoning really works nice with the tomato juice.
