This is what I make when I am craving nachos. It's simple and fast.

  1. Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet.
  2. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.
  3. Drain and mix in taco seasoning mix and water.
  4. Continue cooking 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Place processed cheese and milk in a small, microwave safe bowl.
  7. Microwave on high until melted, 1 to 2 minutes.
  8. Stir until blended and smooth.
  9. Place tortilla chips on a large, microwave safe dish.
  10. Spread with refried beans.
  11. Top with beef and cheese and mixtures.
  12. Microwave approximately 2 minutes on high, until the cheese has melted into the beef. Top with tomato and green onions.
  13. Serve warm.
