I found this in a magazine or online last year ,do'nt remember where.My mom used to always open a can of the jelled kind,which I never liked so I started looking for a easy home made version ,not the jelled kind.This is easy and very good.


  1. Mix all ingredients in pot,except for the zest,bring to a boil,turn heat down to low.
  2. Let simmer , stirring frequently,about 10 minutes or until it thickens up some.Sprinkle zest on top.
  3. Let it cool at room temperture.Refridgerate before serving.
