Taught to me long ago by an Asian neighbor, it's a quick and easy dipping sauce, perfect for dim sum, wontons or eggrolls. Serve as part of a multiple sauce and condiment presentation for your next asian meal or takeout!

Just wanted to comment... You don't always have to add water. That is just so the saltiness doesn't over power the finished dipping sauce. So adjust according to your taste, since the saltiness of your soy sauce (they vary by brand and color). Also, I like to add a drop or two of dark sesame oil, as well as some crushed garlic. Yum!
