Dog Cookies!!!

"This is a simple recipe that my three dogs, a toy poodle, a lab, and a teacup yorkie, love! these are very simple to make, and they are are a treat that your dog will love!!!"

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
• 1⁄4 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 teaspoon water
• 1 tablespoon peanut butter

directions

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Mix butter, sugar, and brown sugar well.
3. Add egg; beat well.
4. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together.
5. Add dry ingredients.
6. Add water and vanilla.
7. Add peanut butter.
8. Place on a greased baking sheet.
9. Bake for 10 minutes.

I made these cookies for Christmas for my dogs (shelties), and I also gave them out as Christmas presents to my relatives' dogs. They were a huge hit by all. My mom's ocherese loves them... and she's really picky. This is a must-keep recipe for me. My dogs think they are getting "people food" when they eat these. :-)
