- 236.59 ml mineral water, at 75 to 80 degreees f (plus 2 more tbsp water)
- 44.37 ml dry buttermilk
- 29.58 ml margarine (a heart healthy brand)
- 473.18 ml white bread flour
- 236.59 ml whole wheat flour
- 29.58 ml tsps Splenda sugar substitute
- 2.46 ml baking soda
- 7.39 ml salt
- 9.85 ml fast rise yeast or 14.79 ml active dry yeast
- 6.16 ml cinnamon
- 118.29 ml dried currant
directions
- Put all ingredients except currants in the bread pan and assemble the bread machine according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Select regular, rapid, or delayed bake cycle and light crust setting.
- At the addition beep add the currants, following your bread machine's instructions for raisin bread.
- Bake, cool and enjoy.
