I love these cookies! They are sooo good & always come out perfectly done. Evryone I've ever made them for compliments them. (The only problem is it makes 10 dozen, althought I guess that could be a good thing....) I got this recipe from Joanne Fluke's book Peach Cobbler Murder.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Melt the butter.
  2. Mix in the white and brown sugar.
  3. Add the vanilla, baking soda, salt and mix.
  4. Add the eggs and stir it all up.
  5. Then, add half the flour and all the chips and nuts.
  6. Stir well.
  7. Add the other half of the flour and mix.
  8. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheets.
  9. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Allow them to cool for two minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Loved these cookies! They spread quite a bit but we like a crispy/chewy cookie! They are great dunked in coffee or milk! Definitely will be making these again!

I'm a huge Hannah Swensen fan, and I was so excited to make these cookies. Unfortunately, they were just OK for me. They spread way too much and I just hate that. The flavors were great, though. Probably won't try this again, but it was a fun experiment.
