  • 2 (10 ounce) pkges. chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
  • 1 (8 ounce) pkge. cream cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (3 ounce) can French-fried onions

directions

  • Heat chunks of cream cheese and soup in saucepan over low heat until melted into a creamy mixture and add to thawed, drained chopped spinach. Add seasonings. Mix in 3/4 can of french fried onion rings.
  • Put into a greased 2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Top with remaining french fried onions and bake at 350 degrees for 10 more minutes.
  • If doubled, put in a 9 X 13 inch casserole dish.
