Crustless Apple Pie in the Crock Pot

My sister made this for our Christmas Eve family party and it was a HUGE hit, probably the most popular dessert at the table. Believe it or not is is sugar-free and oh-so simple. The recipe came from a bariatric cookbook.

Directions

  1. Peel and dice apples.
  2. Place apples in a crockpot.
  3. Mix Splenda and cinnamon in the water and pour over apples.
  4. Cook on low 4-5 hours or until apples are soft.
  5. Serve warm with fat-free or sugar-free cool whip.

I have made this too and forgot to review! Would TOTALLY agree with last review! I did use Granny Smiths as had on hand today! Simply delicious, GREAT for entertaining okay? THANKS!

Awesome ! I'm making this for the second time in a week. The first time I had gotten a bag of not so great apples and decided to give it a try. The house smelled like heavenly apple pie, they were gobbled up too fast. This is a great dessert with no guilt. Perfect with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt. I didn't use granny smith apples either time, just tart red ones grown locally, but I would like to try them out to.
