Wonderful comfort food! We loved this and it was so easy to throw together on a busy day. I used up two different kinds of sausage I had on hand. Since I omitted the raisins and used unsweetened applesauce I added a Tbsp of brown sugar. Sweet and savoury at its best. I will be repeating this recipe often. Thank you, Caroline

  1. Place all ingredients in crock pot.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
  3. Serve with mashed potatoes and toasted rye bread.
  4. ENJOY!
