  1. In an extra large skillet, cook the four slices of chopped bacon over medium heat until crisp. Add garlic; cook and stir for 30 seconds more. Drain off fat. Stir in pasta, broth, water, salt, and pepper.
  2. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 12-15 minutes or until pasta is al dente, stirring once. Stir in peas, whipping cream, and Parmesan cheese. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more or until heated through. Serve immediately sprinkled with crumbled bacon.
