Creamy Apple Noodle Kugel

Since it uses applesauce as well as fresh apples it is very moist, easy and quick preparation, and great apple taste. When I am in a really big hurry, I just double the applesauce and don't bother with the fresh apples.

Directions

  1. Boil noodles till soft and drain.
  2. Return to large pot or in large bowl, add rest of ingredients.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Sprinkle some extra cinnamon on top.
  5. Place in large rectangular, greased pan.
  6. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
  7. Split the recipe into 2 square pans and freeze one.
  8. Freezes well.

I made this for breakfast and it was soooo delicious. Moist and creamy with a nice apple-cinnamon flavor. Very easy, too. The kids loved having noodles for breakfast. Thanks Caryn.

My daughter and I liked it. My two sons didn't, and my husband is avoiding carbs. I used 1/2 and 1/2 and followed exactly. I will keep and make again and just MAKE those guys eat it! I served as a main dish with biscuits for a light Sunday night dinner.
