Country's Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are not too flat and not too cakey. I just can't describe them they are so good. They have a really nice flavor despite not having butter in them and being all shortening.

Made these with a butter-flavored Crisco, dark brown sugar & some dark chocolate chips! Now these GREAT TASTING COOKIES I was not willing to share with others, so they managed to last all of 2 1/2 days! Will certainly be making them again!   1. Cream shortening with sugars and salt. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips. Place 1 tablespoonful on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes (mine is usually 10 or 11 minutes).
