This is a recipe for a simple, but delicious, sauce for grilled steaks.
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- Combine all ingredients and heat until butter is melted. When ready to serve, reheat until butter is hot.
A great sauce for ensuring that you have nice moist steaks and burgers. Very easy to make with ingredients that I always have on hand. Thanks for sharing, TasteTester. Made for March, 2009 Aussie/NZ Swap.
This sauce is wonderful and smells so good while heating everything up together. DH wanted hamburgers on the grill so I made the patties and poured the sauce over them. Let them sit for a few minutes on the counter and than DH basted the burgers with the sauce while grilling. Great flavor, moist burgers, easy sauce! I used two teaspoons of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of worcestershire, we love it, and bottled lemon juice instead of fresh. Cant wait to try this with steaks! Thank you Taste Tester for posting. Made and reviewed for the Potluck Game.
