Sambols are great with hot curries. Adds a nice texture to your curry meal.
- 1⁄2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 pinch paprika
- 1 tablespoon hot milk
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1 pinch chili powder (optional)
- lemon juice
- Place coconut in a bowl, sprinkle with paprika, salt, milk, lemon juice, chopped onion and if desired, the chili powder.
- Mix thoroughly, taste and adjust seasoning.
- Pile into a small bowl and garnish with sliced chillies.
