I love this at breakfast...or any time, for that matter! A very simple topping for toast when you're sick of jelly.;)
- Toast the bread and butter it.
- Combine cinnamon and sugar.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar over the butter.
- Say "Mmmmm -- ".
Good and easy to make. I didn't measure the butter and I used Splenda instead of sugar. We enjoyed this for breakfast. Made for Spring PAC 2010.
when we were youngr mom always buttered the bread sprinkled the cinnamon or just sugar on a few an the put them in the oven for a few mins.My 2 year old stayed a week at granny's and is officialy hooked!! LOVE this reminds me of my childhood and love passing it on to my baby.
We grew up doing this all the time... i love it and seeing this recipe reminded me that i need to eat this again... soon!
