Christmas Jello

"Our family looks forward to this every holiday. It's a yummy and unusual dessert that always sparks a conversation. An easy recipe that even children have no trouble assiting with."

• Ingredients: 8
• Serves: 12

ingredients

• 1 box lemon Jell-O gelatin
• 1⁄2 cup red cinnamon candies
• 2 cups hot water
• 2 cups applesauce
• 1 dash salt
• 3 ounces cream cheese
• 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

directions

1. Dissolve red hots in hot water.
2. Add jello and let cool.
3. Stir in apple sauce, lemon juice, and salt.
4. Chill until partially set.
5. While chilling, form cream cheese into small balls and roll in nuts.
6. Fold into Jello-O mixture.
7. Chill until set.

This is very easy to make! It tastes wonderful and is someting different, yummy!!!!!!

Thank you for posting this! This is a salad we have enjoyed for many, many years at Christmas! We somehow misplaced it a few years ago and Christmas dinner hasn't been the same without it! If I could give you 10 stars I would!
