Brownies
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts (optional)

Frosting
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
directions
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and syrup.
- Mix in flour, nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
- For frosting, combine butter, milk and sugar in saucepan.
- Boil 30 seconds only.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips.
- Beat (by hand) until creamy and spread on brownies.
