  • Cream butter, sugars& vanilla.
  • Beat in eggs& water.
  • Stir in flour, baking soda& salt.
  • Add chocolate chips& nuts.
  • Spread in a greased 10x13 pan.
  • Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes of baking, run knife through batter for rippled effect.
  • Cut into bars while still warm.

  1. Made for PAC, Spring 2007 ~ This recipe made for nice tasting bars, but I did have to bake them for a total of over 20 minutes before they were done! Then, it wasn't long after that that the kids in the neighborhood wolfed them down & finished them off!

I live in Canada & am a stay at home mother of 3. I am not much of a cook, learning slowly, thanks to all of your great recipes.I'd like to experiment a bit more but usually end up making kid friendly recipes. Baking is probably my favorite thing to do.
