ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon water
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 -2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
directions
- Cream butter, sugars& vanilla.
- Beat in eggs& water.
- Stir in flour, baking soda& salt.
- Add chocolate chips& nuts.
- Spread in a greased 10x13 pan.
- Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
- After 2 minutes of baking, run knife through batter for rippled effect.
- Cut into bars while still warm.
