  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box duncan hines devil's food cake mix
  • 1 (4 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 14 cups water
  • 12 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 (12 ounce) can betty crocker chocolate frosting
  • 1 (20 ounce) package chocolate almond bark

directions

  • Bake Devil's Food cake as directed on narrow side of box (in 9X 13 pan).
  • Let the cake cool completely and crumble in large bowl.
  • Mix crumbled cake with 1/2 can Betty Crocker Chocolate Icing.
  • After mixing well roll into balls. Put in freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Melt chocolate almond bark as directed on package.
  • Roll cake ball into the melted chocolate bark and place on wax paper.
  • You can drizzle a little white chocolate on top for design. Also, they look very nice in mini muffin cups.

  2. These are so good and really easy to make. I served them at a friend's baby shower and then made more for family and friends. No on can believe how simple these are. The only change I made was to use the melting chocolate available at craft stores like Hobby Lobby instead of almond bark. I'll be maing them again as favors for my niece's bridal shower.
