  1. I made these cookies for guests tonight. Everyone ate 2-3 even though they were "full." They basically tasted like chocolate chip cookies but were darker in color. The chai tea taste was barely there. Everyone commented that they wouldn't have know they weren't plain chocolate chip cookies had I not told them about the chai tea. They still turned out nicely, but the chai tea didn't add enough for me to warrent making this one again. I added pecans to half the batter.

  2. I made these tonite and they were very tasty. My only complaint is the dough was way too soft to form into balls! But they are very large and nice and soft! The chai lent an almost gingerbready taste but I enjoyed it!

  3. These were scrumptious cookies, enhanced by the flavour of the chai spices- I used Oregon Chai's Spiced Original (http://www.worldpantry.com/oregonchai/ocframe.html). The only thing holding this back for me was the richness of the recipe. The cookies were greasy from the butter, and it verged on being too sweet once combined with the chai mix. I will make these again, but will cut back butter by half a cup, and sugar by 1/4 cup. Fun stuff!

  4. Delicious and wonderful cookies with such an interesting flavor. These had a lovely texture and were really a fascinating combination of flavors. I used semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips, and really enjoyed the creaminess of the milk chocolate with the delicate spices of the chai. Thanks for sharing, l4c!

  5. VERY large, and VERY tasty cookies! I put a bit less of the semi-sweet chocolate in them. I would highly recommend these to anyone who loves chocolate chip cookies, but is looking for a new twist!
