Chipped Beef on Toast

"Also called "Shit on Shingles". We didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid and this was cheep and easy for mom to make! She adds sweet peas so we would get out veggies all in one. And the cheese gives jsut the right amount of salty to go witht he creamy milk!"

I am a wife and mother of an infant son and a crazy 2 year old. I love my life in general. I feel very lucky to have the life I have. I learned how to cook helping my mother and grandmothers in the kitchen it was something I will always remember fondly about my childhood and something I will be doing with my children! Although my experimenting didn't start until I was in college living with 2 very good cooks (believe it or not they were both men). With very little money we had to figure out how to feed ourselves with what we could bum off our parents. <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/adoptedspring08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">
