Chicken With Barbecue Sauce

"Here's a simple chicken recipe using Bisquick!"

• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
• 1 lb boneless chicken, cut in half crosswise
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 1 tablespoon water
• 3⁄4 cup Bisquick
• 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika

directions

1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Pour 1/2 of melted margarine into rectangular (13x9x2) baking pan.
3. Flatten chicken.
4. Mix egg and water.
5. Mix Bisquick with paprika.
6. Dip chicken into egg, then coat with baking mixture.
7. Place chicken in pan, drizzle with remaining margarine.
8. Bake uncovered 20 minutes.
9. Turn chicken, bake 8-10 minutes longer.
10. Serve with your favorite barbecue sauce.
