Chewy Peanut Butter Bars

"FABULOUS! Chewy and Good! This is a very popular bar which does not last but one day in my home! Great for a snack. The peanut butter flavor comes through well and you have the choice to put in raisins or chocolate chips!"

  1. This was ok.It needs to have more peanut butter added to give it more flavour.I could hardly even tell it was a peanut butter bar.Next time I would bake it for 20-25 minutes as I found it gets dry pretty fast.

  2. I made this recipe on 9/26/08 after seeing your wonderful photos in the "Cooking Photo Forum".Instead of using raisins ( which I can't stand ), a milk chocolate/peanut butter blend chip was used. This recipe was so easy to make, even a beginner baker could do this with no trouble at all.The smell of this recipe as it was baking was so wonderful I couldn't wait to taste it. And after tasting, I wasn't disappointed at all. But I can't make these again,(Yeah, Right) the reason is I'll end up eating the whole batch.Thank you so much for posting and, "Keep Smiling :)"
