This is my Mom's. So easy! A classic dip for family cocktail hour!
- 1 cup extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- Preheat the oven to 400.
- Mix all ingredients in a small casserole dish (the size of a soup crock), and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Serve with raw veggies or crackers.
I have made this dish many times since I found it on 'Zaar. When I am going to a party and need to bring an appetizer, my friends always ask me to bring this one....it is so easy, and so popular, there is seldom any left even if I double or triple the recipe. Thanks for a great keeper recipe!!!!!
