- 1⁄4 cup maple syrup, pure
- 1⁄2 cup rye whiskey
- 3 cups coffee, hot, black, double strength
- 3⁄4 cup whipping cream
- 4 teaspoons pure maple syrup
directions
- Topping: Whip cream with maple syrup until lightly whipped and set aside.
- Divide maple syrup and whiskey among 4 warmed, heatproof, glass mugs.
- Divide coffee into mugs.
- Spoon topping over coffee and serve.

After several floods to my basement, I am starting to input all of the many many recipes that I've been collecting for years. I didn't realize just how many I had saved up... must make note to self.. step away from the cookbooks!
