3 stars because, even though this sounds like a good soup it is NOT a Campbell's vegetable beef clone. The secret to Campbells VB soup is tomatoes and beef stock. In fact, you can put almost anything (ground beef, almost any veggies) together with beef stock/broth and some kind of canned tomato, and you will have something that tastes really close. Leave out the tomatoes and it's just plain old soup.
