Buttery Chicken Casserole

- 1 frying chicken
- 1 quart water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 2 packages Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1⁄4 cup butter
directions
- In lg pot put chicken, water, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat, cook 1 hour.
- Remove chicken and cool slightly.
- Skin and bone chicken, cut in bite sized pieces.
- Combine soups, chicken, and sour cream.
- Put half the crumbs in a lightly greased.
- casserole.
- Spoon chicken mix over the crumbs.
- Top with remaining crumbs and drizzle with butter.
- Bake at 325* for 35 minutes.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
