- 236.59 ml brown sugar, gw brand, firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 22.18 ml butter
- 473.18 ml flour
- 2.46 ml baking soda
- 3.69 ml baking powder
- 1.23 ml salt
- 236.59 ml buttermilk
- 177.44 ml walnuts, chopped
directions
- add sugar to egg.
- beat.
- add butter.
- sift dry ingredients
- mix alternately with milk.
- stir in nuts.
- pour into greased 9x5x3 pan.
- bake in moderate 350 degree oven 1 hour.
