  • Preheat broiler to high and coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  • Top each grapefruit half with 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 teaspoon coconut.
  • Place on baking sheet.
  • Broil 3 minutes, or until coconut is toasted.
  • Watch carefully to prevent burning.

  2. Great idea! I liked it but think I would enjoy it more with a little less sugar and a little more coconut.
     
  3. Wow wow wow. Words cannot describe how delicious this way. I only had one grapefruit on hand so I split it with my husband. I put more coconut on it then called for which made it even more amazing.<br/>Next time I may not even add any sugar because I found the coconut made the dish. I am going out tomorrow to buy more grapefruit because I am already craving more!
     
  4. This has a wonderful tropical flavor without the calories. The kids actually ask for broiled grapefruit with coconut as an after dinner dessert. Thank goodness I have a 5lb bag of pink grapefruit. Winning!
