This is excellent! I used 2% milk and a 14 oz bag of frozen broccoli florets without any problems. I bought American Cheese from the deli because it wasn't available in blocks. DO NOT USE CHEDDAR! It did not work at all! Thanks, this was great for the cold weather!

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Saute vegetables until tender.
  2. Add flour, stir until foamy.
  3. Add chicken stock and milk. Stir. Add cornstarch, cubed cheese, parsley and pepper.
  4. Heat through.
  5. Add thawed broccoli.
  6. Heat through and serve.
