  • Preheat the oven to 350°F
  • Rip the bread into small pieces
  • Place in a mixing bowl and cover with the milk, letting it soak for 20 minutes
  • Mash the bread into a consistent texture with no chunks
  • Add the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, raisins, butter and salt and mix well 5. Pour into a buttered nine-inch square baking pan and bake for about 45 minutes, until browned on top and set in center
  • Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream.

  2. Really good--- So easy to make-I made this as directed and it fit into a 9x9 pyrex glass pan. I served this warm with vanilla ice cream and whiskey sauce-to think I nearly threw away that stale loaf. This is the vest bread pudding -thanks for the great recipe!
