Boiling corn in milk gives it a sweet flavor; adding sugar brings out even more sweetness.
- In a large, heavy saucepan, bring milk, water, and sugar to a rapid boil.
- Add corn, and cook for about 5 minutes, or until desired doneness.
Boiled corn means soggy corn. The butter wouldn't even stay on the corn.
Made this last night and I could definitely tell the difference. Very good!
