Cheese and apples are natural partners, and in an omelet they are an extra special combination. This is a good vegetarian dish to try on your family. This recipe is from the American Family Cookbook.

  3. To make omelet, melt butter in a small skillet.
  4. Place eggs, water and black pepper to taste in a small bowl and whisk to combine.

Yum! Made this for dinner and kept it all to myself. Used about half the butter and one egg plus one egg white. Blue cheese and apples are a great combination. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

This is such an amazing omelette - i never thought i'd like blue cheese, eggs and apple but I tried it for breakfast today and now I want to have it every day.

Very good! I doubled all but the bleu cheese and used a sprinkling of dried chives because I didn't have any fresh. DH wants some toasted walnuts in it next time and is talking about making the omelet in the microwave. It was a very nice Sunday morning breakfast with some toasted english muffins
