This sauce is a traditional accompaniment to Korean Bibimbap, but it is a versatile (and moderate heat) hot sauce that goes great with anything you'd use sriracha on. I like it on eggs!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a small serving bowl.
  2. Sauce will keep for a week with no refrigeration.
  3. Use wherever you would use sriracha, tabasco, salsa, etc.
  4. Enjoy!
