Bernadette's Scorching Spanish Salsa

• Yields: 4 cups

ingredients

• 1 quart tomatoes, diced
• 2 jalapeno peppers, diced
• 2 fresh cayenne peppers, crushed
• 1⁄4 onion, diced
• 1⁄4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
• 1 garlic clove, crushed
• 1⁄4 teaspoon crushed oregano flakes
• 1⁄4 teaspoon cumin
• 1⁄2 teaspoon seasoning salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon chili powder

1. Place ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend only a few seconds so tomatoes remain chunky and other ingredients blend nicely.
