Beetroot Salata

"A traditional Sudani salad. Posted for Zaar World Tour 3"

• Ingredients: 10
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 1 beetroot
• 2 carrots
• 3 tomatoes
• 1 green capsicum (pepper)
• lettuce
• 4 spring onions
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 1 lemon
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 1 pinch salt

directions

1. Chop vegetables into even sized pieces and mix together.
2. Sprinkle with vinegar, lemon juice and sesame oil.
3. Add salt and toss.

Excellent. Found this salad recipe this morning - haven't had one quite like this! Yes it's an excellent new to us salad that will be on for our summer back yard gatherings this summer. Thank you for sharing.

Made & reviewed for ZWT 4 _ Kumquat's Kookin' Kaboodles! DH loves anything with beetroot in, especially salads so I knew I was onto a winner with this! It is actually similar to an Algerian sald we have so we were all very much at home with this! Quick & simple to make & super tasty too! Thanks Julie for another excellent recipe! :)
