Beer Baron Kraut Sandwiches

"Beer Baron is a brand of polish-style sausage that has a unique smoked flavor. Once you've tried them, you're hooked for life (read testimonials at beerbaron.com). Although kielbasa works, the Beer Barons elevate this recipe to an entirely different level. Here is one of my favorite ways of preparing them. I served these with a horseradish mustard at a BBQ cookoff, and took first place."

Passions: My family (have 4 grandsons), standing next to my grill at the lake on a warm summer day with a beer or 3 in my hand, and the Montana Grizzlies football team. Pet peeves: Whining professional athletes' salaries, boaters who run across my fishing line while I'm trolling, and women who insist on driving while I'm behind the wheel (not you sweetheart, you make critical navigational observations).
