ingredients
- 4 bananas
- 60 ml low-fat yogurt
- 4 tablespoons granola cereal
directions
- Peel bananas and halve. Insert icecream stick in cut end of each piece, to make a handle.
- Holding by stick, dip into yoghurt (I cheat and dip it into the tub rather than try to coat it with the small amount), cover completely to exclude air, allow to drain away slightly then roll in granola lightly.
- Place on tray covered with foil or cling and freeze immediately in coldest part of freezer.
- Yum!

These were yummy! I took your advice and just dipped the banana in the yogurt tub; I also crushed the granola slightly to make it easier to coat the banana. My grocer didn't have popsicle sticks and I didn't want to make an extra trip to get them, so I just stuck the handle end of a plastic spoon into the banana and it worked just fine! Thanks for posting this quick and easy breakfast on the go!

Amazing best friend and hubby of 25 yrs, 3 awesome sons and a beautiful daughter. I am blessed! My reviews prior to 2011 often mention substitutions...This is a hangover from our years living in Fiji where ingredients are not always available. I don't do this to detract from your recipe, but I do mention the subs so others will know what worked.
