  1. Bertha, this was "very" good and simple to make. Since I am working on weight loss I substituted fat-free sweetened, condensed milk, fat-free Cool Whip and low-fat vanilla wafers and it didn't seem to alter the taste at all. Even my husband who doesn't like anything low-fat or fat-free loved this dessert. Thanks for a great recipe! Anita Harris

  2. Very good!

  3. This recipe is very sweet, so I recommend smallish servings of pudding with lots of bananas. I am a new fan of Pepperidge Farms mini Chessman cookies, so that is what I used instead of the vanilla wafers. My teenagers and their friends loved it!

I am married and have three children ages 9 to 16. I work full-time so between work and attending as many school functions as I can possibly fit in, I have little time to prepare "gourmet" type dishes which require a lot of preparation time. I like tasty, quick-fix meals that use ingredients that are usually in my house and don't require an extra trip to the store. When I'm not waiting on my family or working, I like to do counted cross-stitch and recently started a new hobby----quilting.
